Welcome to
A couple updates
I've been very lax in the upkeep of the site lately, but hope to have more time for it in the near future. I've put together a plumbing parts list to add to the breeding rack file, and will work on getting that posted as soon as I get a chance. Not much on construction, but maybe in the near future.
I've also added a photo gallery to make some of the photos I've taken over the past couple years that didn't make it to the site available for viewing. I've completed the transition of the current site pics to the site gallery. As with any major upgrade, there will be bugs. Therefore, if a pic doesn't show I would appreciate an email to let me know about it. Just let me know which article, or page, and I will correct it. On that note, the photos button will not work temporarily. I will be updating to point it to the albums page later in the week, but have to make the time to update each page with the new link.
As an aside, I knew that eventually others would want to use photos from this site for reference. I have intentionally placed permanent links on each photo so the link will not change as it is sorted in various albums. I do not require asking for permission to use photos for this purpose. However, I do ask that credit be given to Plecobreeder.com for this use. I am only aware of 2 instances of this so far, but as the site grows I expect to see it more often. My pics aren't the greatest in the world, far from it, but I'd at least like credit in exchange for their use.
I'm leaving the sales page up for the time being, but do not have anything on that page available at this time. I hope to have a few things available again after the first of the year, but personal obligations just don't allow for the time to maintain that part of the site right now.
The L340 and peacock gudgeon articles have been updated to reflect changes in spawning success and method.
I no longer have the L340 breeders. They were sold prior to the move back to Arizona because of the length of the trip. I am now
looking for another colony to start working with them again. These are a very easy, although unproductive species.
Use the email link below for any site suggestions, issues, or just to discuss fish in general.
